[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our team in Southeast Asia just came back from a scout-visit to a location in the interior of Thailand. To arrive to the Village Pai they travelled about two hours to the foot of the mountain and then hiked up for another hour. The village, located amidst the mountains is inhabited by the ethnic group known as Karen.
At Pai, most of the houses are built out of wood, bamboo and some cement. There the group was able to engage in some activities with the children and the community in general. We also met a couple from a local ‘suffering’ church – Pastor Sa and his wife. They planted a church in the middle of the forest in another village further away that’s even more needy. Every Friday they drive through the muddy roads in their motorcycle and spend the weekend serving that community.
They don’t have any support to do this work but they have not grown weary in their mission. We heard the amazing testimonies of the 40 believers in their church. MORE’s base in Thailand has been planning a way to cooperate in their ministry – these heroes of the suffering church. you can be a part of this great privilege. Pray with us for Pastor Sa, his family and his church.
