[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We have been in Thailand for a few months now and have been blessed with the opportunity to partner with a small local christian organization that hosts children from different areas around their country. It was brought to our attention that the english language can be an important tool for these children to give them a chance for better opportunities and a brighter future. In response, we created a campaign to sponsor teaching supplies for english classes. The church responded and for a few weeks our missionaries have been holding classes with area children.

During the campaign, we raised 4500 reais (aproxi. USD 15000). This amount was invested in buying school supplies for 45 students, most of whom were children but some were teenagers and even a few adults that were staff of the house that the children live in. They will also have classes in basic skills for photography and how to use Microsoft Office. Every Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 9 pm we have divided the students into 2 classes (5-12 year olds and 13-17 year olds). The house staff has their own classes on Thursdays.

In addition to the school supplies, we were able to acquire a media projector, printer and extra supplies for the office area with the resources that were raised. In the future we believe these Christian Thai children who were unable to go to public schools because of the discrimination and peer pressure that they would suffer will have more opportunities and hope.
